Northern Italy Trip - Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - Collalto - 2

We drove through the vineyards and then some forests, heading north to Castello Collalto.

While the castle itself is a ruin,
just next to it is a small cafe
Trattoria Due Torri.

A neat little wine chiller.
Notice the image of Castello San Salvatore
on the bottle.
Our view and Nadia

After lunch we drove back through
the vineyards to the winery.
 Castello San Salvatore

Once back to the winery,
we toured the facility and the sat down
to a tasting of new wines and old favorites.
Of course, I forgot to take photos of the last bit.
Yes, they were still harvesting and crushing.

A mural on the wall in the tasting hall (old stables)
of Castello San Salvatore.

Then it was into town to check into our hotel and freshen up a bit before dinner.

We found a place to park behind this!
MB makes a pick up, who knew.

 In the square.
After dinner group shot.
