A little time after taking the photos of the orchids, I looked out and saw real ducks in the lake. Most of the ducks that show up in my yard are Muscovy Ducks, an invasive species. Real Ducks are anything else. They tend to be very skittish.
They were about 10 to 15 yards out in the lake and I was back a ways from the shore zoomed in on them.
They saw me and that was that.
