After capturing the anhinga and cormorant earlier in the day. The sunset gave me these.
I'm just a very, amateur photographer living in South Florida. Most of my photos are taken with a Panasonic DMC-FZ7, but you'll find smart-phone and tablet shots as well. These are pretty much WYSIWYG, as I try to keep editing to a minimum. Yes, I take a LOT of sunsets; but it only stands to reason since my backyard faces south-west. Feel free to leave comments and constructive criticism.

Anhinga and Cormorant - September 20, 2017
There was an anhinga sitting on the fence.
I went out the front door and down the far side of the house so I could capture him/her before it saw me.
As I was taking the pictures, I looked over my shoulder and saw a cormorant sitting on the duck float watching me. So, he/she got so shots too.
The lake was so calm, it mirrored the cormorant nicely.
Sunset with Storm Clouds - September 19, 2017
There were storm clouds moving in as the sun set. Made for some interesting colors and a lot of layers.
Even a bit of rainbow.
Sunset - September 17, 2017 - #medoingdumbthings
Needed to get a picture of the sunset.
Wanted it just right.
So I stood on the super-gutter
of my screen structure.

Hurrican Irma - September 9 - 10, 2017
It's starting to get a little choppy.
This little guy has no idea what he's in for. He survived it okay, despite being blown out of the tree a time or two.
This is a good example of how storm surge works. As the wind blew East to West down this inlet, it pushed waves out into the lake. It's less choppy on the south and north sides of the inlet.
In the middle of the storm.
The picture is good, the video shows it better.
An American Bald Eagle - September 6, 2017
These were taken a few days before Hurricane Irma struck South Florida. They were at maximum zoom on my camera as I shot across the lake. I believe he'd stolen the fish from either one of the ospreys or a younger Bald Eagle that had initially caught my attention.
This is the sunset from that evening.
